Lunch time deals on eBay

What’s lunch time like at your workplace? Most people think of lunchtime as a time for most employees to do what the phrase itself hints, eat lunch! The truth is that most employees use this free time to eat lunch but at the same time multi task a number of other tasks, such as shop on eBay!

It seems to be a growing trend on eBay, and more and more sellers are figuring out the cool day to post new items is no longer Sunday night, but lunch time. The great thing for the sellers is that lunch repeats itself five days a week (well seven days a week, but we are only interested in five since those are the days most people work).

As for the buyers try it out yourself, search for “eBay Lunchtime Specials” or “ eBay Lunchtime Deals” and you will find a lot of interesting deals. A lot of the time eBay stores that are specialized electronics that are in high demand such as “ipod touch“, “playstation 3“, “xbox 360“, “iphone” and “blackberrys” tend to have some generous lunch time specials on eBay!

eBay Buyer of a “gorgeous” Mercedes Benz not satisfied

Back in 2006 an eBay user by the name of John N.  was the winning bidder of an auction on eBay outlined as a“gorgeous” Mercedes Benz S600, a 12-cylinder car that retailed for more than $100,000 when new. The auction had ended for $21,200.

John N. does not seem pleased with the car at all and as such has sued the seller for damages and accusing him of committing fraud since the car “had previously been in an accident, had serious mechanical problems, stained upholstery, rusted and worn-out undercoating and needed more than $1,700 in body work”. Ebay Alerts for your favorite typo searches

We have had a number of people ask us if it is possible to save the search results once you search for typos and be arlerted when there are new items posted n eBay. One of our users rescently wrote to us:

Where you can write for example: “charlotte russe white pants” and you get an email alert when an item that contains those words has arrived.
Help would be appreciated thanx.

eBay has a very nifty feature that does just this, but it is a bit buried away and most users seem to miss it. So we headed to the eBay help pages and found this: (more…)
