Do you use google day in and day out? Well so do we, that is why we decided to create a Hottypo iGoogle gadget to help our users find eve more deals on eBay!
iGoogle is a bit different then the normal google.com page, as in it is more customizable through widgets. And what we have done with Hottypo is turn it into one of these widgets. For more information on iGoogle in general and how to set it up with your google account click here.
Check out the full Hottypo iGoogle gadgets at the iGoogle gadgets directory (where you can also install it on your own iGoogle page)!
As always, let us know what you think in the comments.

With November coming to an end, and with our new Typo Trends feature in our hands to play with, the idea sprung up to capture the hottest monthly typo trends on eBay in a nice summary type of blog post.
We introduced the eBay Typo Trends feature just a few weeks ago and we believe it is a great way to see patterns and trends of typos that are occurring all across eBay. Each day of the month we capture and display the top 51 products searched for typos by our users. We also display the top 51 search with typos on eBay in a monthly format. Below we have selected the top 12 search for November 2009:

Typo Trends for November 2009
It is no surprise that the top searched items for typos on eBay are all typos. Apple products have been hot all year around, but they do come with a hefty price tag and as such looking to find auctions with typos for them on eBay is a great way to get a deal on a apple macbook, iphone or ipod touch!
The interesting one that we have seen come up through the searches is LN32B360C5D, which if one was to google would get many results related to a samsung LCD TV. Unfortunately there aren’t many results for typos (I guess people are mroe careful when spelling model numbers on eBay) but there are plenty of savings to be had on eBay directly for this LCD TV.

iTunes is having a great sale on an amazing classical music collection. I have personally not have had the chance to listen to much classical music but have always wanted to dive into it, and this is a great opportunity for folks like me, as much as it is for classical music lovers.
The collection is titled 111 Years of Deutsche Grammophon. DG (Deutsche Grammophon) is held as the top label for classical music, so you are not jeopardizing quality.
So what is the deal really? 720 songs, ~6GB worth of music for $9.99! A quick search on Amazon tells you how much this stuff is really worth…The only restriction is that as of now this is only available on the Canadian store (if your american and feel left out try searching for eBay for typos using our search bar at the top, those classical music composers do have unbelievable long name usually, and you know that is a great recede for a typo).

Are you looking for cheap hockey cards you can purchase and collect? When I was little various cards were favorites among kids my age to collect and trade with one another. Things don’t change much when you get older as you witness many older folks still purchasing, trading and collecting hockey cards. Some of these cards can be so hard to find, and also very expensive, which make places like eBay great places to look for cheap hockey cards. Being from Canada one knows how popular some cards as Sidney Crosby’s, Joe Sakic, Alexander Ovechkin and many other hockey cards can be. Other countires that are big into hockey cards include the United States and Sweeden. The reason for this is obviously because these countries also hold many professional hockey leagues.

It’s that time of the year for many kids and young adults to go back to school! Parents want to make sure their kids are fully stuffed with items that are actually needed to do well inside the classroom, while the kids themselves are looking for fun toys and gadgets. Well, we have good news for both kids and parents. Half.com (eBay’s sister site) would like to extend some savings to their American visitors by offering 10% off $100 orders. Check the bottom of this post for full details.
Half.com is a giant Internet store, a subsidiary of eBay, but operates a very different online shopping experience than the one you are used at eBay for the most part. First and foremost, you buy items straight up, no need to wait for the bidding to end. Sellers range from many major retailers across the U.S.A. Items have a UPC, ISBN or other kind of SKU. You can also find rare, old or collectible items. You can also sell your unwanted items on the spot, like your used school text books, music or movies (sort of like you can sell your unwanted or unused gift cards at Giftah.com).

Who said you shouldn’t stock up for Valanetine’s Day early!? It’s always a good idea to pick something for that special someone way ahead of time because if you leave it for the last minute chances are you will end up getting them something they just don’t want or need, like a gift card to the local hardware store…But hey, there’s always a remdy for that, if you have been a victim of such gift cards head to Giftah.com to redeem them for good ol’ cash.

In todays crazy and hectic world reading can be good. We have become so technologically advanced though that gone are the days that we need to carry our favourite book with us on our way to work on the subway, and then realize half-way there that we are no longer in the mood to read Tom Sawyer, but instead we are in the mood to read Hackelberry Finn. A decade or so ago we would have no choice but to suck it up and just be forced to read Tom Sawyer. Not in 2009 though, no sir!
For those of you not in the know how, we present you the Amazon’s Kindle! It is described as an e-Book reader for on the go.

Summer is quickly coming to an end that for all those of us that are still in the academic world that means another fun filled year of learning begins! With that in mind, most students who are just starting university life will be looking for a laptop of some sort to carry to class and around campus. Laptops come in all sizes and shapes and depending on your needs and work demands one might be better suited then another. If there was one laptop that we could recommend to anybody though, one that would encompass and exceed everybody’s needs would be the MacBook, by Apple.
One of the big complaints though that we hear about Macbooks are that they can be a tad bit expensive. And they can, especially if you are on a student budget. One place that we do recommend for you to check out to shave a few hundred dollars of the final bill is eBay! The first thing you should do is look for auctions with typos and mispellings of course, these auctions may double your savings in some cases. Just head over to our homepage and play around with our typo search servie.
